21.\n2025 STRATEGIC PLAN UPDATE – F2M25-28\nOn March 24, 2025, the City Council approved the 2025 Strategic Plan following two\nspecial City Council meetings that were conducted to review and update the goals and\nobjectives that were previously established in the 2024 Strategic Plan. The 2024 Strategic\nPlan contains six Goals: Goal 1: Enhance Public Safety; Goal 2: Improve Infrastructure\nand Mobility; Goal 3: Create a Strong Financial Base and Strong Economic Base\n(Economic Development); Goal 4: Enhance Transparency and Open Governance; Goal\n5: Promote Sustainability; and, Goal 6: Improve Housing Opportunities. Staff will continue\nto present quarterly updates to the Council and will diligently work through Strategic Plan\ngoals and individual items to enable important progress.\nRecommended Action:\nCity Council receive and file the 2025 Strategic Plan update.
