13.\nAUTHORIZE RFP: JANITORIAL SERVICES FOR CITY PARKING STRUCTURES –\nF2M25-65, RFP2M25-27\nThe current janitorial and cleaning services contract for the City-owned parking structures\nexpired in July 2025. The City of Alhambra Public Works Department is requesting\nproposals for janitorial and cleaning services for three City-owned parking structures\nlocated at 80 South First Street, 26 North First Street, and 103 North Chapel Avenue. City\nstaff is seeking a qualified and experienced company to provide comprehensive cleaning\nservices, including emptying waste receptacles, debris removal, bi-monthly pressure\nwashing of stairways, and cleaning and sanitizing of elevator floors, doors, and interior\nwalls. In addition, services shall include the use of a vacuum truck for floor cleaning and\nother janitorial tasks necessary to maintain the parking structures in a clean, safe, and\npresentable condition for public use.\nRecommended Action:\nCity Council authorize the distribution of a Request for\nProposals for the janitorial services for City-owned parking structures, with proposals due\nno later than 10:30 a.m. on January 22, 2026; and, direct staff to undertake the steps\nnecessary to finalize the Council’s action.
