10.15 Consideration of a Resolution Approving a First Amendment\nto the Professional Services Agreement with American Global\nSecurity, Inc. to add Security Services for the Aquatics Center\nRECOMMENDATION: It is staff's recommendation that the City\nCouncil adopt the attached resolution authorizing the City Manager\nto execute a First Amendment to the Professional Service Agreement\nwith American Global Security, Inc. to add security services for the\nJohn Anson Ford Park Regional Aquatics Center.\nCONCLUSION: The City has an existing Professional Services\nAgreement with AGS for security services for the Bell Gardens Sports\nCenter, Veterans Park, and City Hall events. With the construction of\nthe new Aquatics Center, the City is in need of additional security\nservices to include the Aquatics Center. Staff researched options and\nconcluded that the most cost-effective approach would be to include\nAquatics Center coverage via a security vehicle.\nFISCAL IMPACT: Additional coverage and a security vehicle will add\n$100,000 to the remainder of the contract.
