10.13 Acceptance of the Various Residential Streets Project (CIP No.\n3940) as Complete\nRECOMMENDATION: It is staff’s recommendation that the City\nCouncil:\n1. Accept the construction contract for the Various Residential\nStreet Improvements, FY 2024/2025 (CIP No. 3940) as\ncomplete, and\n2. Authorize staff to file the Notice of Completion.\nCONCLUSION: The City Council’s acceptance of the Project as\ncomplete is required to allow the City Clerk to file the Notice of\nCompletion with the LA County Registrar-Recorder.\nFISCAL IMPACT: The City's FY25/26 capital improvement project\nbudget allocated $1,245,168 in Measure R and Measure M funds.\nFurthermore, the City Council approved an additional appropriation\nof $200,000 in Measure M funds, $303,000 in Measure R funds, and\n$250,000 in Prop C funds to cover all construction and project\nmanagement costs, including contingency. The total Project budget\nwas $1,998,168, and the final Project cost was $1,817,656.90,\nincluding design, construction management, project management\nand construction. The Project was completed within budget.
