7.\nAward Construction Contract to Leonida Builders, Inc. in the Amount of $1,755,891 for\n“Pomona Transit Center ADA Improvements (I),” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-67938\nIt is recommended that the City Council take the following actions:\n1) Authorize City Staff to reject the apparent lowest bid in its entirety from Turn Around\nCommunication, Inc. for “Pomona Transit Center ADA Improvements (I),” Project No.\n428-2590-XXXXX-67938; and\n2) Award a construction contract to the lowest responsive bid from Leonida Builders, Inc.\nfor\n“Pomona\nTransit\nCenter\nADA\nImprovements\n(I),”\nProject\nNo.\n428-2590-XXXXX-67938, to include all Base Bid items plus Additive Alternate Nos. 1\nand 2 in the total amount of $1,755,891; and\n3) Find that the project referenced above is categorically exempt from the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15301(c) and that the\nproposed project will not have a significant effect on the environment; and\n4) Authorize the City Manager to execute the construction contract and any subsequent\nchange orders on behalf of the City of Pomona (City).\nStaff Report.docx\nAttachment No. 1 - Public Works Contract - Pomona.pdf
