CONSIDERATION OF SECOND READING AND ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE NO.\nCONSENT CALENDAR\nOPPORTUNITY TO COMMENT ON CONSENT CALENDAR\nItems listed under the Consent Calendar are considered by the City Manager to be routine in nature\nand will be enacted by one motion unless a public comment has been received or Councilmember\nrequests otherwise, in which case the item will be removed for separate consideration. Any motion\nrelating to an ordinance or a resolution shall also waive the reading of the ordinance or resolution and\ninclude its introduction or adoption as appropriate.\nRecommendation\nIt is recommended that the City Council approve the Warrants as presented.\nRecommendation\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Find that the requested allocation of discretionary funds to support the South\nPasadena High School Tiger Booster Club to cover expenses for the Tiger Run\nEvent (Event) serves a valid public purpose benefiting the City; that the expenditure\nis free from any conflict of interest; and it does not constitute a gift to any individual,\ncorporation or municipality, but it is used exclusively to benefit the general public;\n2. Approve the allocation from Councilmember Primuth of up to $1,000 in discretionary\nfunds to support the Event by offsetting a portion of staffing-related expenses based\non these findings; and\n3. Approve the allocation from Councilmember Cacciotti of up to $200 in discretionary\nfunds to support the Event by offsetting a portion of staffing-related expenses based\non these findings.\nRecommendation\nIt is recommended that the City Council adopt Resolution No. 7957, appointing the\nfollowing individuals to the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority\nGold Line Foothill Extension Construction Authority Board of Directors as follows:\n1. City of Glendora Councilmember Mendell Thompson - Voting Board Member for a\nterm of two years ending December 31, 2027;\n2.
