DISCUSSION AND DIRECTION REGARDING THE CITY'S BLOCK PARTY PERMIT\nPROCESS AND OPTIONS FOR COUNCIL CONSIDERATION FOR UPDATING AND\nFORMALIZING\nBLOCK\nPARTY\nPERMIT\nPROCESS; AND APPROVAL\nOF\nCOUNCILMEMBER\nCACCIOTTI'S\nREQUEST\nFOR\nTHE\nUSE\nOF\nHIS\nDISCRETIONARY FUNDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF BARRICADE EQUIPMENT FOR\nBLOCK PARTIES\nRecommendation\nIt is recommended that the City Council adopt Ordinance No. 2406 amending Chapter 2\n(Administration) of the South Pasadena Municipal Code related to boards and\ncommissions.\nRecommendation\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Approve the change order substituting the previously authorized purchase of one\nFord F-150 Lightning for the Fire Department with a Chevrolet Silverado EV, due to\nFord Motor Company’s production pause and indefinite delay; and\n2. Authorize the City Manager to execute any necessary change orders, contracts, or\npurchase documents with National Auto Fleet Group through the City’s Sourcewell\nContract #091521-NAF.\nRecommendation\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Authorize the acceptance of a grant award in the amount of $6,346.30 from the\nCalifornia State Library Groundworks Grants program; and\n2. Adopt Resolution No. 7958 appropriating funds in the amount of $6,346.30 from the\nGeneral Fund Miscellaneous Revenue account (101-0000-0000-5071-003) to the\nLibrary's Special Department Expense account (101-8010-8011-8020).\nACTION/DISCUSSION\nRecommendation\nIt is recommended that the City Council consider the following requests:\n1. Receive report from staff on the City's current Block Party Permit process;
