(CM)\nRecommendation:\nStaff recommends considering the appointment of Suja Lowenthal to serve as City\nManager and the approval of the Employment Services Agreement with Suja Lowenthal\nas the City Manager\nComments:\nN/A\nRecommendation:\nStaff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached, revised resolution entitled: “A\nRESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DETERMINING\nTHAT THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF FERNWOOD AVENUE FROM 795 .35 FEET\nSOUTHEAST OF ALAMEDA STREET TO IMPERIAL HIGHWAY IS IN CONFORMANCE\nWITH THE ADOPTED GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AND ORDERING\nTHE VACATION OF THAT PORTION OF FERNWOOD AVENUE"\nComments:\nMembers of the City Council serve on various municipal organizations that require\nrepresentation of government officers. This participation allows the City to receive\nbeneficial information and resources. Previously, the Mayor has made appointments to\nthe organizations, with approval and ratification of members of the City Council.
