CC 6. Task Order for Multi-Year Professional Services (Service Group Category 12 – Architectural\nand Engineering Design – On-Site Facilities) for El Dorado Park Improvements (Reference\nPWCP 24-008)\nRecommendation(s):\n1. Approve Task Order No. 1 with IDS Group, of Irvine, California, in accordance with the\nMulti-Year Professional Services Agreement, Service Group Category (SGC) 12 –\nArchitectural and Engineering Design – On-Site Facilities, to provide Architectural and\nEngineering (A & E) services for El Dorado Park Improvements in the amount of\n$337,740.00 plus a 10% contingency; and authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to\nsign all documents.\nEl Dorado Park is located on the northwest corner of 5th Street East and Pondera Street\nwithin a densely populated area and is surrounded by established residential neighborhoods,\nan elementary school, and commercial businesses. The El Dorado Park revitalization project\nfocuses on creating renovated amenities to improve and expand community resources based\non community input.On May 3, 2021, the City of Lancaster filed a Notice of Exemption to\ncomply with the California Environmental Quality Act for the revitalization of El Dorado\nPark.
