5.\nSECOND READING OF AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA PUENTE,\nCALIFORNIA, ADOPTING UPDATED FIRE HAZARD SEVERITY ZONE MAPS FOR LOCAL\nRESPONSIBILITY AREAS, PURSUANT TO GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 51178 AND THE\nCALIFORNIA FIRE CODE\nStaff Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council: (1) open the public hearing and receive\npublic input; (2) adopt Ordinance No. 25-991 entitled, “An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of La\nPuente, California, Designating Fire Hazard Severity Zones,” adopting the updated Cal Fire Local\nResponsibility Area (LRA) maps for the City; and (3) adopt a Notice of Exemption Regarding same.\nCC/SA Agenda\nJanuary 13, 2026\nUNFINISHED BUSINESS OF THE CITY COUNCIL\nCITY COUNCIL AND SUCCESSOR AGENCY CONSENT CALENDAR\nAll matters listed under Consent Calendar are considered to be routine in nature and may be enacted by one motion approving the\nrecommendation listed on the Agenda. One or more items may be removed from the Consent Calendar so that said item(s) may be\ndiscussed and considered individually by the City Council/Successor Agency, if a motion to remove the item(s) is approved by an\naffirmative vote of a majority of the members of the City Council/Successor Agency.
