7. PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH JOE A. GONSALVES & SON FOR STATE\nLEGISLATIVE ADVOCACY\nRECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council:\n1) Ratify a Professional Services Agreement with Joe A. Gonsalves & Son to provide state legislative\nadvocacy services related to housing and community development matters, including\nrepresentation before the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD);\nand\n2) Authorize the City Manager to execute any non-substantive amendments consistent with the\nscope of services and budget; and\n3) Authorize the budget adjustment in the fiscal impact section of this report.
