(32)\n25-0006-S87\nCONSIDERATION OF MOTION (PARK – HUTT) relative to requesting\nreports on the cost, funding sources, and legal strategies to complete\ndebris reomoval on all properties within the perimeter of the Pacific\nPalisades Fire that were abated and have not completed the\nabatement.\nRecommendations for Council action:\n1. INSTRUCT the City Administrative Officer, in coordination with\nthe Department of Building and Safety (DBS), to report to\nCouncil within 30 days on the estimated cost to complete debris\nremoval on properties that were abated pursuant to Los\nAngeles Municipal Code (LAMC) Section 91.8907, as well as\npossible funding sources, including but not limited to the Repair\nand Demolition Fund, Citywide Nuisance Abatement Fund and\nthe Enterprise Trust Fund, in order to front fund this work.\n2. INSTRUCT the DBS and REQUEST the City Attorney to\nevaluate all potential legal strategies, including criminal\nprosecution, to address all properties within the perimeter of the\nPalisades Fire that were abated pursuant to LAMC 91.8907 and\nhave not completed the abatement of the documented\nhazardous conditions.
