10.\n10 YEAR COOPERATIVE PURCHASE AGREEMENT WITH AXON\nENTERPRISE, INC The City of Tustin Police Department seeks City\nCouncil authorization to enter into a ten-year cooperative purchasing\nagreement with Axon Enterprise, Inc. through Sourcewell Contract No.\n101223-AXN. This agreement provides a comprehensive, integrated\npublic safety technology platform that modernizes the Department’s body-\nworn camera program, in-car video systems, less-lethal devices, real-time\noperations capabilities, digital evidence management, and related training\nand support services. The proposed agreement replaces fragmented and\naging systems with a unified, fully supported solution designed to improve\nofficer safety, operational efficiency, transparency, and service to the\ncommunity. During the evaluation of FY 25-26 mid-year request, a\nsupplemental tool to leverage technology was also discovered in Axon AI\nEra Solution, which is an integrated suite of AI-powered tools that\nenhances policing by improving records and identity checks, and\nstrengthening dispatch operations through a voice activated AI partner\nthat provides real-time translation and the ability to triage non-emergency\ncalls for service.
