8.\nApproval of Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement with\nGHD, Inc. for the South Forbes Road/Oso Creek Trail Active Transportation\nEnhancements Project, CC24-12\nRecommendation\nStaff recommends the City Council:\n1. Approve Amendment No.1 to the Professional Services Agreement with\nGHD, Inc. (GHD), for the South Forbes Road/Oso Creek Trail Active\nTransportation Enhancements Project, CC24-12, with a base fee of $66,311;\n2. Approve a not-to-exceed 15% contingency to the base fee for Amendment\nNo. 1 in the amount of $9,947 for unforeseen conditions or extra work, and\nauthorize the Public Works Director/City Engineer to approve additional work,\nfor a total not-to-exceed Amendment No. 1 amount of $76,258, if needed;\nand,\n3. Authorize the City Manager to execute Amendment No. 1 to the Professional\nServices Agreement with GHD, Inc., subject to the City Attorney making non-\nsubstantive changes.
