APPROVAL OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT AND STATEMENT\nOF WORK WITH CIVICPLUS FOR CITY WEBSITE REDESIGN, HOSTING, AND\nRELATED DIGITAL SERVICES\nThe City of San Gabriel’s official website serves as the primary digital\ncommunication and service delivery platform for residents, businesses, and\nvisitors. The current website has not undergone a comprehensive redesign\nsince 2016 and no longer meets modern expectations for usability, accessibility,\nmobile responsiveness, and content management. Following a competitive\nRequest for Proposals (RFP No. 23-16) process, CivicPlus was selected as the\nmost qualified vendor to provide website redesign, consolidation, hosting, and\nconsulting services. Approval of this item will allow the City to modernize its\nwebsite, improve accessibility compliance, enhance cybersecurity, and provide\na more user-friendly digital experience. Based on the CivicPlus Statement of\nWork, the total initial investment for the first year is estimated at approximately\n$33,219.82. which reflects prorated Year 1 costs. Ongoing annual recurring\nservices are estimated at approximately $19,966.00 every July.\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Determination: Not a Project as\ndefined in Section 15378 of the State CEQA Guidelines.\nRecommended Action:\nStaff recommends that the City Council authorize the City Manager to execute\na Professional Services Agreement and associated Statement of Work with\nCivicPlus for the redesign, hosting, and ongoing support of the City of San\nGabriel website, including related digital services.
