(32)\n26-0165\nMOTION (LEE - PARK) relative to funding for the purchase of radio\ncalibration equipment required for the Los Angeles Police Department\n(LAPD) to conduct radio calibration in-house in support of the transition\nto a trunked communication system.\nRecommendations for Council action, SUBJECT TO APPROVAL OF\nTHE MAYOR:\n1. AUTHORIZE the transfer of $191,408 from the Contractual\nServices Account (003040), Work Order Number 0790502X\n(Voice Radio Switch Extended Maintenance), to the Furniture,\nOffice, and Technical Equipment Account (007300) for the\npurpose of purchasing radio calibration equipment required for\nthe LAPD to conduct radio calibration in-house in support of the\ntransition to a trunked communication system.\n2. AUTHORIZE the LAPD to make any corrections, clarifications\nor revisions to the above fund transfer instructions, including\nany new instructions, in order to effectuate the intent of this\nMotion, and including any corrections and changes to fund or\naccount numbers; said corrections / clarifications / changes may\nbe made orally, electronically or by any other means.
