(67)\n25-0002-S72\nRULES, ELECTIONS AND INTERGOVERNMENTAL RELATIONS\nCOMMITTEE REPORT relative to establishing the City’s position on\nAssembly Bill (AB) 492 (Valencia), which would require written\nnotification when a license is issued by the Department of Health Care\nServices to a residential alcohol or other drug recovery or treatment\nfacility.\nRecommendation for Council action, pursuant to Resolution (Padilla –\nLee) and SUBJECT TO THE CONCURRENCE OF THE MAYOR:\nRESOLVE to include in the City’s 2025-26 State Legislative Program\nSUPPORT for AB 492 (Valencia) which would require the Department\nof Health Care Services to provide written notification to a city or\ncounty concurrently whenever it issues a license to a residential\nalcohol or other drug recovery or treatment facility including the name\nand mailing address of the licensee and the location of the facility.\nFiscal Impact Statement: None submitted by the Chief Legislative\nAnalyst. The City Administrative Officer has not completed a financial\nanalysis of this report.
