F.1.\nCONSTRUCTION AGREEMENT WITH CROSSTOWN ELECTRICAL &\nDATA, INC. TO CONSTRUCT CIP 2004, SUNSET/SANTA MONICA\nFIBER LOOP PROJECT [H. COLLINS, J. GILMOUR]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider approval of a Construction\nAgreement with Crosstown Electrical & Data, Inc. to construct CIP 2004,\nSunset/Santa Monica Fiber Loop Project.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Approve a Construction Agreement with\nCrosstown Electrical & Data, Inc., in the amount of $5,411,882.00 for the\nconstruction of CIP 2004, Sunset/Santa Monica Fiber Loop Project, and\nauthorize the City Manager or designee to execute documents incident to\nthe Agreement; 2) Authorize the City Engineer to approve change orders\nto the Construction Agreement in an amount not to exceed 25%\n($1,352,970.50) of the total Agreement amount; 3) Authorize the Director\nof Finance & Technology Services to release the $14,700,000 allocated in\nthe Debt Funded Capital Projects Fund previously intended to support a\nbroadband initiative and allocate $4,766,580 from Unallocated General\nFund Reserves to account number 100-4-08-84-705040 for the\nSunset/Santa Monica Fiber Loop Project; and 4) Adopt Resolution No. 26-\n________: “A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF\nWEST HOLLYWOOD APPROVING THE DESIGN AND PLANS FOR THE\nCONSTRUCTION OF CIP 2004, SUNSET/SANTA MONICA FIBER LOOP\nPROJECT, PURSUANT TO GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 830.6.”
