A Public Hearing to consider an Ordinance Amending the Glendora Municipal Code Title 21\n(Zoning) Regarding Outdoor Dining Standards in the Glendora Village (PLN22-0041)\nCITY RECOMMENDATION: Open and conduct the Public Hearing, accept evidence and\ntestimony presented, and in the absence of substantial evidence to the contrary: 1. Adopt a\nCategorical Exemption pursuant to §15305 and 15061(b)(3) of the California Environmental\nQuality Act Guidelines; 2. Introduce for first reading an ordinance entitled, “AN ORDINANCE\nOF THE CITY COUNCIL AMENDING TITLE 21 (ZONING), SECTION 21.06.070 (CCAP\nZONING DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS) OF THE GLENDORA MUNICIPAL CODE\nRELATING TO OUTDOOR DINING,” by reading of the title only and waiving further\nreading; 3. Schedule second reading and adoption of the ordinance for the January 24, 2023\nCity Council meeting; 4. Direct the preparation of a summary of ordinance for publication\npursuant to Govt Code 36933 and Resolution CC 2018-40; and, 5. Provide staff with direction\nto work with the Business Improvement District (BID) Advisory Board to develop standards\nand a permitting process for signs, potted plants, and displays in the public right of way.
