8.\nNOTICE OF COMPLETION: GOLF\nCOURSE\nPARKING\nAREA\nLANDSCAPE\nENHANCEMENT PROJECT – F2M25-46, C2M25-43, M2M26-32\nOn October 13, 2025, the City Council awarded a contract to Four Seasons Landscaping\nInc. in the amount of $109,000 for the Golf Course Parking Area Landscape Enhancement\nproject. The City requested a change order to remove the old dying trees in the\nlandscaping area which totaled $16,000, which brings the contract total to $125,000. This\nproject has been inspected by staff, and all work has been completed in accordance with\nthe City’s requirements and specifications. As such, it would be appropriate for the City\nCouncil to accept this project as complete.\nRecommended Action:\nCity Council accept the work of SGD Enterprises DBA Four\nSeasons Landscaping, Inc. for the Alhambra Golf Course Parking Area Landscape\nEnhancement Project as complete in the amount of $125,000.00; direct the City Clerk to\nfile a Notice of Completion with the County of Los Angeles for recordation; instruction the\nFinance Director to release the 5% retention 35 days from the date of recordation if no\nliens and filed; and, direct staff to undertake the steps necessary to finalize Council’s\naction.
