9.\nNOTICE OF COMPLETION: 2024 CDBG ADA RAMP PROJECT – F2M25-26, C2M25-\n17, M2M26-34\nOn April 28, 2025, the City Council awarded a contract to CJ Concrete, Inc. for the 2024\nCDBG ADA Ramp Project in the amount of $638,125.00. One change order was issued\nresulting in an increase of $21,193.50 for an additional ramp, making the final cost\n$659,318.50. The project has been inspected by staff and all work has been completed in\naccordance with the City’s requirements and specifications. As such, it would be\nappropriate for the City Council to accept this project as complete and instruct that the\nNotice of Completion be filed with the County of Los Angeles Recorder’s Office.\nRecommended Action:\nCity Council accept the work of CJ Concrete Construction,\nInc. for the 2024 CDBG ADA Ramp Project as complete in the amount of $659,318.50;\ndirect the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion with the County of Los Angeles for\nrecordation; instruct the Finance Director to release the 5% retention 35 days from the\ndate of recordation if no liens are filed; and direct staff to undertake the steps necessary\nto finalize the Council’s action.
