Adopt a Categorical Exemption from the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act pursuant to Section 15301(c) of the California Code of Regulations;\n2. Approve the Plans and Specifications, including Addenda No.1, for Grand Avenue and\nBennett Avenue Traffic Signal Modification, Left Turn Phasing, Plan No. 1351; 3. Award the\ncontract for Grand Avenue and Bennett Avenue Traffic Signal Modification, Left Turn\nPhasing, Plan No.1351 to California Professional Engineering, Inc., in the amount of $278,439,\nwith a 10% contingency of $27,843.90, for a total contract amount not to exceed $306,282.90;\nand, 4. Authorize the City Manager or his designee to execute the agreement including making\nminor non-substantive changes.
