F.1.\nICE-FREE ZONES IN WEST HOLLYWOOD [C. BYERS, J. ERICKSON]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider directing Staff and the City\nAttorney to evaluate an ordinance establishing ICE-Free Zones on City-\ncontrolled properties. This directive follows similar actions in Los Angeles\nCounty, Los Angeles City, Oakland, Culver City, and other jurisdictions\nthroughout the country in response to the immigration enforcement actions\nby the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Direct Staff and the City Attorney to evaluate\nan ordinance to establish ICE-Free Zones on City-controlled properties;\nand 2) Direct Staff and the City Attorney to monitor similar proposals\nmoving forward in Los Angeles County and other jurisdictions throughout\nCalifornia.
