BYERS]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider adopting a Resolution calling for\nCasey Wasserman to step down from his position as chair of the 2028 Los\nAngeles Olympics organizing committee, after recent emails were\nreleased linking Wasserman to Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Adopt Resolution No. 26-________: “A\nRESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST\nHOLLYWOOD CALLING ON CASEY WASSERMAN TO STEP DOWN\nFROM HIS POSITION AS CHAIR OF THE 2028 LOS ANGELES\nOLYMPICS ORGANIZING COMMITTEE”; and 2) Direct Staff to send\ncopies of the resolution to the International Olympic Committee, LA28\nExecutive Committee, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, State Senator\nBen Allen, State Assemblymember Rick Chavez Zbur, Representative\nLaura Friedman, Senator Alex Padilla, and Senator Adam Schiff.
