1.\nConsider whether to discontinue or continue the Avenida Classica Traffic\nCircles Pilot Project. (Fraley) (60 minutes)\nRecommendation: 1) Consider a petition from some area residents to\nremove the Avenida Classica Traffic Circles Pilot Project; 2) Consider the\nTraffic Safety Committee’s recommendation to continue with the traffic circle\nproject with recommended modifications; and, 3) Direct Staff to either: a.\nRemove the Avenida Classica traffic circles and discontinue the pilot project;\nor b. Continue with the Avenida Classica traffic circles project and implement\nthe improvements recommended in this staff report by awarding a Public\nWorks Agreement to Interstate Striping, Inc., in the amount of $37,000 with a\n15% contingency in the amount of $5,550 for a total not-to-exceed amount of\n$42,550; and, c. Authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the Public\nWorks Agreement, in a form approved by the City Attorney.\nAgenda Report
