6. Award of Maintenance Services Agreement for Citywide Streets Maintenance\nServices with MCE Corporation\nRecommendation\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\n1. Approve the Maintenance Services Agreement for Citywide Streets\nMaintenance Services with MCE Corporation in the not-to-exceed amount of\n$2,518,209 per year for Fiscal Years 2023-24 through 2025-26, subject to\nextension administratively for two additional one-year periods;\n2. Approve a 10% contingency of the total contract in the amount of $251,821 for\nunforeseen conditions or extra work and authorize the Public Works\nDirector/City Engineer to approve additional work for a total not-to-exceed\namount of $2,770,030 per year, if needed; and,\n3. Authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement and future amendments\nto the Maintenance Services Agreement with MCE Corporation, subject to the\nCity Attorney making non-substantive changes.\nCity Council Regular Meeting Agenda Page 3 of 8 April 18, 2023
