5.B.\nRESOLUTION ACCEPTING GRANT FUNDS FROM THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF\nTRANSPORTATION (CALTRANS) FOR THE 2026 COMMUNITY CLEANUP AND EMPLOYMENT\nPATHWAY GRANT AND APPROVAL OF THE ASSOCIATED RESTRICTED GRANT AGREEMENT (RGA)\nPresented by Lotus Thai, Sustainability Manager\n— Recommended Action: 1) Adopt a resolution accepting grant funds from the California\nDepartment of Transportation (Caltrans) for the Community Cleanup and Employment Pathway\nGrant in the total amount of $240,258; 2) Approve the Restricted Grant Agreement (RGA) with\nCaltrans for the grant; 3) Authorize the City Manager and City Attorney to make any necessary,\nnon-monetary changes to the agreement; 4) Authorize the City Manager and City Clerk to\nexecute the RGA and other grant-related documents as necessary; and, 5) Approve a budget\namendment in the amount of $240,300 for this purpose.
