A.\nAthletic Field Use and Allocation Policy Staff will present a revised\nAthletic Field Use and Allocation Policy to the Rosemead City Council that\nestablishes fair, transparent, and equitable access to municipal sports\nfields for all user groups and organizations. The revisions incorporate\nfeedback from the Parks Commission, including an increase to the\nminimum residency percentage required to qualify as a Resident Non-\nProfit Organization.\nRecommendation: That the City Council review and provide direction on the\nParks Commission's recommendation to increase the minimum residency\nrequirement to 35% for an organization to qualify as a Resident Non-Profit\nOrganization. Staff also seeks guidance on whether to maintain the current 25%\nresidency requirement for existing organizations that are currently utilizing the\nCity's athletic fields.\nStaff Report
