5.3 TRANSFER OF 37 STREETLIGHTS FROM A COUNTY OF LOS\nANGELES PUBLIC WORKS SERVICE ACCOUNT TO A CITY SERVICE\nACCOUNT WITH SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON AND\nRECOMMENDING LOS ANGELES COUNTY TO EXECUTE AN OPTION\nE AGREEMENT FOR THE CITYWIDE CONVERSION TO LED STREET\nLIGHTS.\nRecommended Action:\nA. Adopt Resolution No. 2023-10 authorizing the City Manager to accept\nthe transfer of 37 streetlights from a County of Los Angeles Public\nWorks Department service account to a city service account and\nfacilitate annexation of 26 streetlights into the County Lighting\nMaintenance District; and\nB. Appropriate $82,500 from the General Fund (Fund 100) Fund Balance\nto the Electric Utility Expenditure Account of Road Maintenance (Fund\n655) in Fiscal Year 2022/23 Operating Budget.\nRequested by: Public Works Department
