MCCORMACK]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will receive an update on planning for WeHo\nPride 2026, approve related agreements and administrative items, and\nconsider the City’s participation in WorldPride 2026 in Amsterdam.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: Event Production Agreements – 1) Approve\nAddendum 5 to the Exclusive Event Production Services Agreement with\nJJLA for WeHo Pride 2026 in an amount not to exceed $2,132,826; 2)\nAuthorize the City Manager to approve change orders up to $271,174; 3)\nAuthorize receipt of sponsorship funds and related budget adjustments;\nOUTLOUD Music Festival and Pride Parade – 4) Approve Addendum 1 to\nthe Multi-Year Permit to Use City Property Agreement with JJLA, including\nCity sponsorship not to exceed: $921,574 for OUTLOUD, $407,383 for the\nPride Parade; 5) Authorize change orders up to: $138,236 for OUTLOUD,\n$61,107 for the Parade; Community Programming – 6) Approve a Co-\nSponsorship Agreement for the Women’s Freedom Festival and Dyke\nMarch for an amount not to exceed $80,000; Fee Waivers and Business\nParticipation – 7) Approve waiver of City permit and event fees for JJLA\n(estimated $125,000); 8) Approve waiver of Special Event and\nEncroachment Permit fees (estimated $14,000) for local businesses\nhosting Pride-related events June 5–7, 2026; 9) Authorize up to $12,500\nfor required L.A. County Fire Department site plan reviews; Event\nLogistics – 10) Approve street closures and facility use associated with the\nevent, including a potential $50,000 loss in parking revenue; 11) Waive\ncitywide residential permit parking restrictions from Friday, June 5 at 4:00\nPM through Monday, June 8 at 7:00 A.M.; WorldPride 2026 Participation –\n12) Approve participation in the Amsterdam WorldPride Canal Parade via\nthe OUTLOUD float and allocate $40,000; and 13) Authorize a City\ndelegation of Councilmembers and staff to attend WorldPride and be\nreimbursed for necessary business expenses.
