ERICKSON]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider directing Staff to develop a\nmemorial sign program, which is a way for family members and friends to\nhonor victims of traffic-related fatalities and promote awareness and\nsafety.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Direct staff to develop a policy for a memorial\nsign program, including eligibility criteria, applicability, sign templates, and\npossible locations; and 2) Direct staff to return to the City Council with\nrecommendations for the policy guidelines and implementation.
