J.19\nApproval to Utilize Asset Forfeiture Funds to Purchase Law Enforcement Equipment and Software\nRecommendation(s)\nThat the City Council:\n1. Authorize the Police Department to purchase law enforcement equipment and, updated and additional software licenses with\nmaintenance for $149,718.91;\n2. Approve the use of Asset Forfeiture funds and the proposed budget adjustments as set forth in the Fiscal Impact Section of\nthis report; and\n3. Authorize the City Manager and Chief Financial Officer to approve Purchase Orders to effectuate the acquisition of law\nenforcement equipment and software licenses with maintenance for $149,718.91.
