18. Acceptance and Approval of Amendment No. 1 for Additional Funds to Older\nCalifornians Nutrition Program Grant Award FY 2025/26 (All Wards) Pg. 704\nRecommendation:\nIt is recommended that the Mayor and City Council of the City of San Bernardino, California\nadopt Resolution No. 2026-026:\n1. Authorizing the City Manager to approve a 2025/2026 Budget Amendment #1 for\nthe Older Californians Nutrition Program grant through the Department\nof Aging and Adult Services – Public Guardian (DAAS-PG); and\n2. Authorizing the City Manager to accept the amended 2025/2026\nCongregate Meal Program Grant Budget in the amount of an additional\n$9,000 (Total Award of $351,000 from $342,000); and\n3. Authorizing the City Manager or their designee to conduct all negotiations,\nsigning and submitting necessary documents to receive grant budget awards;\n4. Approving a contract amendment agreement with Sysco Foods and change order\nto increase PO for additional $9,000 to the annual purchase order for continued\noperation of the Older Californians Nutrition Program; and\n5. Authorizing the Director of Finance and Management Services to amend the\ngrant funds for the period of July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026.
