12.\nAWARD OF CONTRACT: PURCHASE OF TWO TORO RIDING MOWERS – F2M26-\n6A, C2M26-19, M2M26-53\nTurf maintenance at the Alhambra Golf Course is a key and necessary operations activity\nto ensure the 92 acres of grounds are manicured safe, and clean. The existing mowers\nare twelve years old and have reached the end of their useful life without extensive\nmaintenance costs. Staff is seeking to purchase replacement mowers through a\nCooperative Purchase Agreement Cooperative purchase is allowable per Municipal Code\n3.36.080(B)(3). On January 30, 2025, Sourcewell opened bids for the procurement of\nLandscape and Grounds Equipment. Sourcewell awarded contract 112624-TTC to Turf\nStar Western Toro on January 30, 2025, a contract that does not expire until January 31,\n2029.\nRecommended Action:\nCity Council award a contract, subject to final language\napproval by the City Manager and City Attorney, to Turf Star Western Toro in the amount\nnot to exceed $206,793.48 for the purchase of one Toro Groundmaster 4500 mower and\none Toro Reelmaster 5510 mower; direct the Finance Director to appropriate in the\namount of $206,793.48; and, direct staff to undertake the steps necessary to finalize the\nCity Council's action.
