3.\nANNUAL BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS APPOINTMENTS – F2M26-29\nThe terms of office for all members of the City’s various Boards and Commission expire\non March 23, 2026; therefore, it is appropriate for Councilpersons to appoint or reappoint\ntheir representatives at this time. With the exception of the Youth Commission, each\nrepresentative may serve for a maximum of eight consecutive terms of one year each.\nAppointments will be effective for a period commencing March 23, 2026 and ending March\n22, 2027.\nRecommended Action:\nThe Mayor and each Councilperson shall announce his/her\nnew appointments to the Arts & Cultural Events Commission, Civil Service\nCommission/Board of Appeals, Design Review Board, Environmental Sustainability\nCommission, HCDA Citizen Advisory Committee, Historic Preservation Commission,\nHuman Relations Commission, Board of Library Trustees, Parks & Recreation\nCommission, Planning Commission, Transportation Commission, and Youth Commission\nwith each appointment to be effective for a period commencing March 23, 2026 and\nending March 22, 2027. Other than announcing names of new appointees, no action is\nrequired.
