5.5 AWARD OF A PUBLIC WORKS CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR THE\nFISCAL YEAR 2025-26 ANNUAL RESIDENTIAL SLURRY SEAL PROJECT TO\nPAVEMENT COATINGS CO. IN THE AMOUNT OF $439,900 (Parco)\nRECOMMENDATION:\n1)\nApprove the plans and specifications for the Fiscal Year 2025-26\nAnnual Residential Slurry Seal Project; and\n2)\nFind that the Project is categorically exempt from the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act (CEQA), as a Class 1 Existing Facilities,\npursuant to CEQA Guidelines, Section 15301; and\n3)\nAward a Public Works Construction Contract to the lowest responsive,\nresponsible bidder Pavement Coatings Co. of Jurupa Valley, California,\nin the amount of $439,900, and reject all other bids; and\n4)\nAuthorize the Mayor to execute the proposed Public Works\nConstruction Contract.\nItem No. 5.5
