L.3 Interim Assistant City Manager Appointment\nRecommendation: That the City Council\n1. Adopt Resolution 2026-027 appointing Jay Goldstone as the Interim Assistant City Manager and authorizing the City Manager to execute an employment agreement with Mr. Goldstone with an hourly rate of $129.81 and limited to working 960 hours per fiscal year.\n2. Approve increasing the FY 2025/26 expenditure budget by $63,212 to the City Manager, Salary & Benefit Accounts 1005200.61020 and 1005200.62100 as necessary.\n3. Authorize the City Treasurer to amend the FY 2025/2026 Adopted Budget\naccordingly.
