L.6 REVIEW AND CONSIDER THE PUBLIC ART COMMISSION'S APPROVAL TO MODIFY MAIN LIBRARY MURAL TO REMOVE CESAR CHAVEZ AND REPLACE WITH DOLORES HUERTA (REPORT OF: PARKS & COMMUNITY SERVICES) (DISTRICT 3).\n\nRequest to Review and Consider the Public Art Commission's Approval to Modify Main Library Mural to Remove Cesar Chavez and Replace with Dolores Huerta.\nRecommendation(s)\nThat the City Council and Community Services District:\n1. Review and consider the Public Art Commission's approval of modifying the Main Library Mural to remove Cesar Chavez and replace with an image of Dolores Huerta; and\n2. Authorize the Executive Director and/or its designee to enter into an agreement for services with the approved artist, Andrea Lopez (the original artist), utilizing funding from the DIF Public Art Fund 3316.
