6.6 City Hall Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Project\nRecommendation:\n1. Approve the “City Hall Electric Vehicle Charging\nInfrastructure Project” design plans and specifications as\nprepared by the project engineer.\nAND\n2. Approve a notice of exemption for the “City Hall Electric\nVehicle Charging Infrastructure Project” finding that the project\nis categorically exempt from the California Environmental\nQuality Act (CEQA) and authorize the City Manager to cause\nthe notice of exemption to be filed pursuant to applicable law.\nAND\n3. Award a contract agreement to Smart City Electric Group for\nthe construction of the “City Hall Electric Vehicle Charging\nInfrastructure Project”, in the amount of $28,400, plus\nauthorized change orders not to exceed 25% of the base\namount; and authorize the City Manager to execute a contract\nagreement and approve change orders, subject to approval of\nthe contract agreement as to form by the City Attorney.
