A\nConsideration and possible action to conduct a public hearing to\nconsider adopting Resolution No. 26-12 – A Resolution authorizing the City\nManager to execute Purchase and Sale Agreement File No. 1125, in a form\napproved by the City Attorney, between the City of Bellflower and Bellflower\n5 Inv, LLC for the purchase of real property located at 9855 Flower Street\nCEQA: This matter is exempt from additional review under the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act (Public Resources Code §§ 21000, et seq., "CEQA")\nand the regulations promulgated thereunder (14 California Code of Regulations\n§§ 15000, et seq., the "CEQA Guidelines"), because it authorizes the sale of real\nproperties only; it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that this\ndisposition, by itself, will cause a direct physical change in the environment and is\ntherefore not considered a “project” pursuant to CEQA § 21065. Any future\ndevelopment on the Properties will require separate CEQA scrutiny.\nRecommendation to City Council: 1) Re-open the public hearing; take testimonial\nand documentary evidence, and after considering the evidence, adopt Resolution\nNo. 26-12 authorizing the City Manager to execute Purchase and Sale Agreement\nFile No. 1125, in a form approved by the City Attorney; or 2) Alternatively, discuss\nand take other action related to this item.\n12
