9.\nAWARD CONTRACT: CONTRACT MANAGEMENT AND INSPECTION SERVICES\nFOR THE SEWER LIFT STATION NO. 5 REPLACEMENT PROJECT – F2M25-57,\nRFP2M25-24, C2M26-21, M2M26-59\nOn December 8, 2025, the City Council approved the distribution of a Request for\nProposals (RFP) for Construction Management and Inspection Services for the Sewer Lift\nStation No. 5 Replacement Project. The firm shall be responsible as construction manager\nand inspector to ensure the work is in accordance with the contract documents and\napplicable regulatory activities such as communication, monitor scheduling and\nbudgeting, meetings, and other miscellaneous activities. Staff reviewed a total of six\nproposals. Valley Construction Management was selected based on their distinguished\nqualifications, experience, reputation, responsiveness, availability, and cost.\nRecommended Action:\nCity Council approve a contract, subject to final language\napproval by the City Manager and City Attorney, by and between the City of Alhambra and\nValley Construction Management for Construction Management and Inspection Services\nfor the Sewer Lift Station No. 5 Replacement Project, in an amount not to exceed\n$539,175.00; and, direct staff to undertake the steps necessary to finalize the Council’s\naction.
