16.\nINITIATION OF THE PROCESS FOR THE CONDUCT OF THE NOVEMBER 3, 2026\nALHAMBRA GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION – F2M26-33, O2M26-4859\nStaff requests the City Council consider adoption of an ordinance calling the General\nMunicipal Election in the City of Alhambra to be held on November 3, 2026 to be\nconsolidated with the Statewide General Election to be held that same date for the\npurpose of submitting to the qualified voters the following named officers: Councilperson\nof the First District, full term; Councilperson of the Second District, full term; and\nCouncilperson of the Fifth District, full term; and, to take any and all actions necessary at\nthis time to start the election process as more fully discussed in the City Clerk’s April 13,\n2026 report.\nRecommended Action:\nCity Council declare introduced for its first reading the\nfollowing ordinance entitled:\nOrdinance No. O2M26-4859: An Ordinance of the Alhambra City Council\nproviding for a General Municipal Election in said city to be held on November\n3, 2026 and providing for the consolidation of the General Municipal Election\nwith the Statewide General Election, said election being held for the election\nof the following city officials, to wit: Councilperson of the First District, full term;\nCouncilperson of the Second District, full term; and, Councilperson of the Fifth\nDistrict, full term\nwhich ordinance will return for a second reading and adoption at the next regular Council\nmeeting.
