9H.\nAPPROVAL OF AMENDMENT TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH\nCITYTECH SOLUTIONS FOR BUILDING PERMIT AND CODE ENFORCEMENT\nSOFTWARE TRACKING SYSTEM\nAt its meeting of February 14, 2023, the City Council awarded a contract to CityTech\nSolutions in an amount not to exceed $40,500, plus a 2% increase per year, starting in\nYear 2, for continued operation of the Building Permit and Code Enforcement Software\nTracking System. The contract was awarded for a term of three (3) years, set to expire\nMarch 1, 2026, with a one (1) year option to renew. The proposed Amendment presented\nfor the Council’s consideration exercises the one-year extension/renewal option,\nextending the term of the Agreement to March 1, 2027, along with a 2% annual increase\nin the compensation based on the consultant’s adjusted rates under Section 3.2 of the\namended Agreement.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\n1. City Council find that the recommended actions are exempt from CEQA per Section\n15378(b)(5) which excludes organizational or administrative activities of governments\nthat will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment; and\n2. Approve the Amendment to the Professional Services Agreement with CityTech\nSolutions and allow the City Attorney to make minor edits as necessary prior to the\nexecution of the Amendment; and\n3. Authorize the City Manager to execute the Amendment to the Professional Services\nAgreement with CityTech Solutions.
