APPROVE AMENDMENT FOR SPECIAL COUNSEL FOR SB 381 IMPLEMENTATION AND\nCALTRANS PROPERTIES DISPOSITION WITH AKIN GUMP STRAUSS HAUER & FELD,\nLLP, FOR A TOTAL NOT-TO-EXCEED AMOUNT OF $40,000\nRecommendation\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Approve an amendment to the agreement with Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, LLP (Akin)\nfor a new total not-to-exceed amount of $40,000; and\n2. Direct the use and reallocation of Slater Reimbursement Reserve Funds for the work\nperformed by Akin.
