F.1. WEST HOLLYWOOD EXPANDED RENTER PROTECTION AND\nHOMELESSNESS PREVENTION PROGRAMMING [Y. QUARKER,\nT. CARTER, D. KAHN-EPSTEIN, B. LUBIN]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider accepting the City's\nshare of Renter Protection and Homelessness Prevention funds,\ngenerated through Measure A, administered by Los Angeles\nCounty Affordable Housing Solutions Agency (LACAHSA), and\nallocated to the City through the Westside Cities Council of\nGovernments, to expand the West Hollywood Homelessness\nPrevention and Rental Assistance Program. The City Council\nwill also consider approving amendments to Agreements for\nServices with current non-profit partners administering rental\nassistance to support program expansion using these additional\nfunds.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Authorize the Director of Finance and\nTechnology Services to accept the City's allocation of the\nWestside Cities Council of Governments' Measure A funds,\ntotaling $631,449, by increasing the revenue and expenditure\nbudget in the Grants Fund; 2) Approve Amendment No.1 to the\nAgreement for Services with the National Council for Jewish\nWomen, Los Angeles (NCJW'LA) for $175,000 to administer an\nexpanded rental assistance program and distribute a portion of\nthe City's Fiscal Year 26 Measure A, Phase 1 allocation; 3)\nApprove Amendment No.1 to the Agreement for Services with\nAPLA Health - Alliance for Housing and Healing (APLA) for\n$175,000 to administer an expanded rental assistance program\nand distribute a portion of the City's Fiscal Year 26 Measure A,\nPhase 1 allocation; and 4) Authorize the City Manager or\ndesignee to execute documents incident to the Agreements.\nSTAFF REPORT\nITEM F.1. - ATTACHMENT A\nITEM F.1. - ATTACHMENT B
