12.\nDiscussion Regarding Replacement of Two Crossing Guard Locations in Current Contract\nIt is recommended that the City Council provide direction related to the following:\n1) Utilize the adopted 2022 School Crossing Guard Study, prioritize filling future School\nCrossing Guard locations:\na. Prioritize Simons Middle School (San Antonio and Franklin) and Vejar Elementary\nSchool (White and Grand) as the current two crossing guard location vacancies\nwithin the Police Department’s contract; and\nb. Authorize the City Manager to update any policies or procedures to reflect\nutilization of the 2022 School Crossing Guard Study to determine future crossing\nguard locations.\nStaff Report
