THEATRE RENTAL FEE WAIVER REQUEST BY OLYMPIA PHILHARMONIC\nSOCIETY\nOlympia Philharmonic Society is planning a youth orchestra concert at the\nMission Playhouse on June 7, 2026, and submitted a letter requesting a fee\nwaiver from the City on April 6, 2026. They are requesting that the total fee be\nreduced from $6,618.50 to $3,453.50. The event will be presented to the\ncommunity at no charge for admission.\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Determination: Not a Project as\ndefined in Section 15378 of the State CEQA Guidelines.\nRecommended Action:\nStaff recommends that the City Council approve a waiver of the San Gabriel\nMission Playhouse facility rental fee only, in the amount of $2,150, for the\nOlympia Philharmonic Society’s performance day on June 7, 2026.
