5)\nCONSIDERATION OF APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL FISCAL YEAR 2025 JUSTICE\nASSISTANCE GRANT (JAG) FROM U.S. DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Review the proposed federal fiscal year 2025 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice\nAssistance Grant (JAG) Program application items;\n2. Authorize staff to submit the application and accept the award totaling $23,940;\n3. Authorize the Mayor to execute the Certifications and Assurances by the Chief\nExecutive of the Applicant Government 30 days after this Council meeting in\naccordance with JAG requirements;\n4. Designate the Mayor, Acting City Manager, and Acting City Manager's designee to\ncertify and execute all grant related documents.\nPUBLIC WORKS
