B Consideration and possible action to approve the Art in Public Places\nproposals for “The Edgeway” project located at 16411 Bellflower Boulevard,\n9742 Mayne Street, and 9735 Oak Street.\nCEQA: Pursuant to the authority and criteria of the California Environmental\nQuality Act ("CEQA"), it has been determined that this project does not have the\npotential to cause significant effects on the environment that had not been\nadequately analyzed in the Mitigated Negative Declaration approved on June 22,\n2020 or the Addendum approved on September 12, 2022. No new significant\nimpacts would occur with the proposed art work.\nRecommendation to City Council: 1) Approve the art in public places proposals\nsubmitted by the developer to install decorative light poles and complete a mural\nat “The Edgeway” project (16411 Bellflower Boulevard, 9742 Mayne Street and\n9735 Oak Street), as fulfillment of the Art in Public Places requirement;\n2) Authorize the City Manager to take reasonable actions to implement the City\nCouncil’s action; or 3) Alternatively, discuss and take other action related to this\nitem.
