3.\nAdopt a Resolution Approving the California State-Subdivision Agreement Regarding\nDistribution and Use of Settlement Funds with Six Regional Opioid Distributors\nPrepared by: Shannon DeLong, City Manager\nRecommendation:\n1. Adopt a Resolution authorizing the City to enter into Settlement Agreements with six\nregional distributors/dispenser defendants to resolve lawsuits accusing opioid manufacturers\nand distributors of mishandling opioid pain drugs, agree to the terms of the related State-\nSubdivision Agreement, and authorize entry into the related State-Subdivision Agreement\nwith the Attorney General.\n2. Authorize the City Manager to approve and execute all documents related to this\nsettlement and all future opioid-related settlements.
